Untitled Glee Ship Fan Fic Project - Chapter 6

*buzz* *buzz* Blaine's phone vibrates in his hand. He reads the name on the screen, Kurt, but he does not want to answer. Blaine finally remembers what happened last night. 

The Night Before

Blaine walks in on Sam's naked body in the bathroom. Blaine's phone vibrates in another part of the house. But Blaine does not hear it. All he can hear is the tiny drops of water hitting the bathroom floor as Sam shakes the water off his muscular body. It all seems to be happening in slow motion for Blaine. A few drops of water hit Blaine’s face and send chills down his spine. Blaine has seen Sam naked before in the locker room and a few times in his dreams. 

"Blaine..." Sam speaks.

Blaine snaps out of his trance.

"What?" Blaine says a bit embarrassed.

"You can let go of the towel." Sam says with a smile.

Blaine didn't realize he was still holding on to it. He lets go instantly and Sam begins to dry himself off with it. Blaine's phone continues vibrating in the distance and continues going unheard. Sam wraps the towel around his waist. A few drops of water drip down his chest. 

"I'm gonna go find you some clothes." Blaine says as he makes an attempt to look away from Sam. 

"Blaine…" Sam says softly.

Blaine stops at the door and without looking back responds.

"What?"

"Do you love me?" Sam asks timidly.

Blaine is caught off guard. He doesn't know how to answer Sam's question because he isn't sure of what the answer is himself. Blaine does feel something for Sam but it isn't love? It feels more like a crush. 

"I think you are a great person and..." Blaine starts.

"Why am I so unlovable?!" Sam cuts Blaine off.

Blaine is immediately confused by Sam's question.

"Sam everyone in the glee club loves you." Blaine says looking directly at Sam.

"That's not what I mean. Why does every girl I date end up leaving me?" Sam asks.

Blaine knew where this was coming from. It had to do with Brittany breaking up with him. Sam stares Blaine down waiting for an answer. But Blaine doesn't know how to answer Sam's question. 

"I don't know." Blaine says finally.

"Quinn left me, Mercedes, Santana, I seriously think it's my fault Santana's a lesbian now. I turned her!" Sam says with a straight face.

"It doesn't work that way Sam... Is that why you were dating Brittany?" Blaine asks.

"It doesn't matter now.” Sam says into the mirror.

“I fall for people harder than they fall for me." Sam says with a touch of pain.

Blaine could feel the pain in Sam's voice. Up until Kurt, Blaine was the same. Blaine was always falling for the straight guys or the taken guys. Then it hit him.

"Yes." Blaine says making direct eye contact with Sam.

Sam is confused and shows on his face. Blaine reads the confusion in Sam's face.

"Yes I do love you Sam." Blaine says. 

Sam hugs Blaine and starts to cry. Blaine places both of his hands on Sam's wet back and holds Sam tightly. Sam's warm body filled Blaine's loneliness with the warmth he hadn't felt in a while. Blaine knew that this is just a friendly hug between friends but he wished it wasn't. He wished this was more than friendship. His wish came true when Sam kissed Blaine's neck and whispered,

"Teach me how to love you".

Blaine's phone is still buzzing in the other room. 

"Something is wrong." A worried Kurt says to Rachel and Santana.

"What's wrong?" Rachel asks.

"Blaine's not picking up his phone. We always talk around this time." Kurt says.

"He's probably hooking up with another closet case." Santana says while flipping through a magazine. 

"He cheated on me once..." Kurt says turning all of his anger on Santana.

"So he says!" Santana interrupts. 

"Not everyone is like you Santana." Kurt says a little too loud.

"Of course not! It's not easy being this awesome." Santana says as she leaves the room.

"Remind me why we let her live here." Kurt says to Rachel.

"We didn’t, she let herself live here. I'm sure Blaine is fine. He will probably call any minute just you wait." Rachel says before leaving the room. 

Ryder wakes up. He looks around and can’t make out where he is. The smell of scented candles fills his lungs and makes him feel nauseous. He begins to feel a little light headed so he places both of his hands on the bed for stability. Ryder grabs a handful of rose petals and brings them close to his face to get a better look. The light coming in from the window is bright enough for him to see. He continues to look around. His eyes stop on the picnic blanket and two glasses of wine.

”Katie!?” Ryder says loudly.

Ryder has a flashback of himself with Katie. They were kissing. Ryder knows that this memory was not real since Wade was really Katie. But Ryder can’t shake off the strange feeling he has about it.

Ryder hears some footsteps coming from behind the closed door. He gets up quickly only to sit back down again. His head is still spinning from the drug he accidently drank. The door opens Jake steps in and turns on the lights. Ryder closes his eyes but not fast enough. He feels a burning sensation in his eyes and has another flashback. Ryder sees Wade.
