Untitled Glee Ship Fan Fic Project - Chapter 5

Blaine holds the "I'm With Stupid ->" T-shirt in his hands. At some point this T-shirt was on Sam, Blaine thinks to himself. How did it end up here? He asks himself. Why did I do this to Kurt again? Blaine's head is overflowing with questions. Questions he is afraid to find the answers to.

The Night Before

Blaine and Sam are in the car. Sam is fast asleep. Blaine looks at Sam's body as it inhales and exhales. The heat their bodies are making inside the car fogs up the glass. Blaine lowers his window a bit more to let cool air in. The fog instantly disappears. 

Blaine can see some college students still dancing through the houses living room window. He sees Siri making out with another guy through a window on the second floor.  The guy pulls Siri's shirt off and then takes off his own. They kiss and move away from the window. Blaine looks at Sam, who is still sleeping. 

"That could have been you." Blaine whispers softly to Sam. 

"Kiss...kiss...kiss...kiss...kiss!" The girls chant.

Finn and Puck look at each other very awkwardly. Puck takes another sip directly from the bottle. 

"Puck you gotta kiss him, you said dare." The blonde girl says teasingly. 

Finn nods his head. 

"Pass!" Finn says out loud. 

"You can't pass!" The red head counters. 

Finn looks at Puck and Puck looks back. Puck nods a tiny yes to Finn and Finn nods back with a very visible no. 

"Kiss...kiss...kiss...kiss!" The girls chant again. 

Jake and Marley walk Ryder through the front door of Jake's apartment. It isn't much but it is home to Jake and his mom. They carry Ryder to Jake's room. 

"Is your mom home?" Marley asks Jake.

"No she went out with her sister." Jake answers out of breath.

Jake opens the door to his room and together with Marley they carry Ryder to the bed. As soon as they reach the bed they let Ryder fall back onto the bed, they are exhausted.  It is dark in the room. The only source of light is coming from a street lamp right outside Jake's window. Marley could feel soft petals on the bed surrounding Ryder. Jake walks over to the light switch.

"Ta da!" Jake says as the lights come on. 

Marley's eyes take a few seconds to adjust to the light and a minute to process what she is seeing. On the floor is a picnic blanket with a red rose, two empty glasses, a bottle of wine and a pizza box. Marley heart jumps with joy. She continues to look around and sees scented candles everywhere. They were not lit but she could still smell them. Marley is amazed at how wonderful it all is. On the bed Marley could see red rose petals all around...Ryder...they are surrounding Ryder. Marley looks at Jake.

"I'm so sorry Jake I didn't know you had this all planed. When Unique called me...” Marley's rant is cut off by a kiss.

Jake holds Marley in his arms as he kisses her. Jake stops kissing Marley and walks her over to the picnic blanket. They both sit down. Jake smiles at Marley.

"Pizza?" Jake asks as he opens the pizza box.

Blaine grows impatient. He wants to go home now. He doesn't feel drunk at all and is confident he can drive home safely. Blaine can see Sam's cellphone bulging through his pocket. But the keys are nowhere in sight. They must be in his left pocket, Blaine thinks to himself since he has a perfect view of Sam's back pockets.

Blaine reaches out to gently tap Sam on the arm. Sam does not wake up. Blaine taps him a little harder but it is no use. Blaine decides to try and shake him awake. It does not wake Sam up but he does turn on his back. Now Blaine can reach into Sam's left pocket. He goes for it. 

Blaine's heart starts racing as his hand makes its way into Sam's tight jean pocket. Blaine has to force his hand in little by little. He moves his finger around inside Sam's pocket hoping that he can hook a finger through the key ring. He does after a few try’s. Blaine starts pulling out the keys slowly so that he does not hurt Sam. Once the keys are out Blaine starts the car. Sam wakes up terrified.

"It's okay Sam I'm taking you home." Blaine tells Sam in a soft and safe voice.

"No... Can I stay at your place?" Sam asks.

Blaine looks up at the window where he saw Siri making out with a guy. That could have been Sam he thinks to himself. 

"Yeah, sure." Blaine answers and drives off.

"Kiss...kiss...kiss!" The girls chant. 

"Hurry up and do it already!" The blonde girl says. 

"Yeah!" The girls shout in agreement.

Finn holds out his empty shot glass. Puck fills it up and then Finn drinks it.

"Okay we are gonna kiss now." Finn says and leans in towards Puck.

The girls look on in excitement. This is it they all think. Finn and Puck inch closer and closer to each other. When they are about two inches away from locking lips they stop and look around. The girls are now biting their nails. Finn and Puck lean in another inch. They can feel the girls getting closer and closer to get a better look. 

Finn and Puck lean in that last inch and their lips touch but only for a jiffy and then Finn pulls away. 

"Awe..." The girls groan very disappointed.

"What the hell was that?" The red head asks furiously.

"A kiss!" Finn answers with a half-smile.

"That does not count as a kiss." The blonde says with slight rage.

"That totally counts right Puck?" Finn asks Puck.

Puck was just sitting there, motionless for a moment. Then it hit him. Puck realizes that he does have feelings for Finn. They have always been there but he had a way of suppressing them. 

"It doesn't count kiss him again." The red head says.

"Kiss...kiss!" The girls start chanting again.

Jake and Marley finish their second slice and then take a sip of wine. 

"I think I should go now it's pretty late." Marley says. 

"Okay I'll take you home." Jake says as he gets up.

They both leave Ryder in bed still sleeping the date rape drug away.

Blaine and Sam enter Blaine's room. Sam is still a bit tipsy but able to get around without Blaine. 

"Do you mind if I take a shower?" Sam asks Blaine.

"The bathroom is down the hall to the left" Blaine answers. 

“It always is.” Sam says jokingly.

Sam makes his way to the bathroom. He undresses and gets in the shower. Meanwhile Blaine plugs in his phone and let's it charge. 

"Kiss!" The girls shout.

Finn looks at Puck and Puck shrugs trying to hide the fact that he wants to kiss Finn more than the girls want to see them kiss. 

"We want to see a real kiss." The red head says. 

"How about this, if we kiss then you two have to kiss." Puck says as he points to the red head and blonde.

"That's not how this game works!" The blonde shouts out.

The red head grabs the blonde's arm and gives her a mischievously evil stare.

"Deal." Says the red head. 

Finn and Puck look at each other once more. This time Puck is the one who leans in to kiss Finn. Pucks heart beats faster and faster as he gets closer to Finn. Then it happens, their lips touch. The girls surrounding them just seem to disappear. Finn and Puck were kissing and this time Finn doesn't pull away because he can’t. Puck has placed both hands on opposite sides of Finn's face. Puck is holding Finn in place for a kiss he has wanted for many years now and now that he has it he does not want to let it go.

"Blaine do you have an extra towel?" Sam asks from the bathroom. 

Blaine grabs a clean towel from his closet and starts walking towards the bathroom. Blaine’s phone comes alive and starts vibrating with an incoming call from Kurt but Blaine is too far away to hear it.

"Yeah it's right he..." Blaine can't finish the sentence.

As soon as he walks into the bathroom he sees Sam's naked body getting out of the shower.
